Welcome to the Blue Ridge Traveler's Towns and Trails, including Marion, Old Fort, Linville Falls, Lake James and Little Switzerland. Our "back yard" is the Pisgah National Forest with hiking, waterfall and mountain biking trails. Pisgah includes over 500,000 acres of forest lands, approximately 70,000 of those acres are right here. The Blue Ridge Parkway serves as our unofficial northern, county border, with shops, art galleries, waterfalls, a historic apple orchard and more between Linville Falls and Crabtree Falls. Typically, we enjoy mild winters and most sites are available year-round.
